I used to use the discontinued tolerance lotion cleanser- and of course, Avène discontinued making it and suggested this. This formula is terrible. my skin feels loved <3
This is the best face cleanser I've used!! I bought the hypersensitive kit and this was my favorite product in it! I have very sensitive redness-prone skin and this cleanser seems to even calm down my redness. It doesn't dry out skin at all and sometimes I don't even feel like using moisturizer after using it because my skin feels SO nice and hydrated. I will say it doesn't clean makeup off that well but I easily use micellar water before this cleanser and this product removes any remnants, plus provides that extra hydration after cleansing off makeup. my facial redness has improved a lot because i simplified my routine to just this and occasionally xeracalm moisturizer. also it lasts a LONG time - a little goes a long way! the itty bitty bottle from the kit lasted me like 3 months :)0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Avene USA - Sí, recomiendoBridget_84Reviewed 1 year ago
Incredible Moisturizer

Love this face wash
Love this. It took me a couple uses to adjust to it, as I've never used a cleanser like it before. It's like a thin lotion. I dampen my face before using it, and I do use a damp cloth to gently wipe off what remains after washing my face. My skin is clean *and* moisturized after using, which is awesome, and I haven't needed as much other products afterward to restore and protect my skin barrier like I would with other face washes that make my skin tight, dry, flaky, and itchy after using them. I have very sensitive and reactive skin, it dries out very easily. This wash is lovely. It does not claim to be a makeup remover, so I wouldn't expect it to remove heavy eye makeup or foundation very easily. But I almost never wear make up on my skin, and I use an eye makeup remover, specifically, for that. Also, this product is fragrance free which is essential for sensitive and reactive skin. Deling with Rosacea
I have been suffering from rosacea since mid November. This is new for me. My dermatologist said the flare up could be due to the change of climate between Maryland and Denver. We visit our grandkids in Colorado every 6 weeks. I continue to have problems using your product even though I had been prescribed antibiotic and steroid creme. Perfect for sensitive skin
This is the best face cleanser I have found for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
