Effective cleanser, effective hydration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is extremely gentle. I don't have sensitive skin but when I have used products for sensitive skin before they have left a film, almost as if I were washing my face with lotion that didn't want to come off. This had no discernable scent and washed off completely clean. My skin did not feel tight after I dried my face and was surprisingly soft. I also read up on the ingredients because I was taken aback by the fact that it did not strip my skin, yet cleaned it. It also did not lather too much but it was very thick. The best way I can describe it: it's like a really thick serum. Again, because it rinsed clean I was certain there had to be a common surfactant in there like sodium lauryl and/or laureth sulfate. However, there are other ingredients in there that have gentler surfactant properties. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised with Aveeno's Calm + Restore Sensitive. Very gentle cleanser!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore Gentle Nourishing Oat Face Cleanser. Now that the colder months are approaching my face is already starting to dry out. Most cleansers I try even hydrating ones tend to strip my skin and make it tight. It's very bothersome to me especially since I wash my face twice daily with a wash to remove makeup or skincare from the night before. I was so impressed after trying this Aveeno wash. The cleanser was very gentle, faint almost indistinguishable scent, and overall felt like velvet on my skin. It didn't make my face feel tight and uncomfortable and effectively removed any makeup or residue. This is the perfect product especially for this upcoming winter. I definitely plan to purchase this product again. So good for sensitive/dry skin
