BETTER than ice cream!
I am allergic to dairy, so only when someone had a favorite "best-ever gotta try this" did I taste ice cream and truly was never a fan. However, I recently Ben & Jerry's non-dairy Cherry Garcia. Delicious - 10/10 recommend!
I'd never had this flavor (or Ben & Jerry's or that matter) before and was searching for a vegan ice cream when I saw it was available where I shop. I bought some and gave it a try…delicious! But, there's a twist. On my last serving I realized I'd actually bought and been eating the dairy version. So, the next time I was at the store, I found the vegan version and got the right one. I was nervous I wouldn't like it as much. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! It was equally delicious. I couldn't even tell the difference. Thank you Ben & Jerry's for offering a tasty and cruelty free ice cream option! I recommend any ice cream lover enjoy this version of Cherry Garcia. Can't wait to try out more flavors. Hot take: A step up from the original!
Seriously good! I think the new recipe elevates the flavour by adding a new dimension. Has a light oat taste to it--almost like rice milk--that compliments the cherry super well.
