I have enjoyed Cheez-it for at least 60 years. But no more. Apparently Kellanova has decided that they can make a few more pennies by selling junk. The new version of Cheez-it is thin and hard in texture, underbaked (no longer lightly browned and airy-crispy) and nearly lacking in cheese flavor. Comparing the ingredients list and nutritional information with the former version strongly suggests that less cheese is used. AGREE - What's changed?
I agree with all the other reviewers. What's happened? What's changed? These snacks are no longer light and crispy. They lack cheesey taste, crispness, saltiness, and not to mention the size has gotten smaller and the price has gotten way bigger. Recipe definately changed, no matter what they say
Cheez its used to be good. They would get eaten in a matter of 2 days and that's the big box. Now they don't taste the same. As someone else here stated, the no name cheez-it style crackers taste more like the way cheez-its used to taste than the cheez-its today. I am baffled by how companies change things, trying to squeeze an extra penny out and think that no one will notice or were too stupid to notice. Well, we do notice and from the looks of it there's a lot of customers you're losing including myself. I won't pay the price you're charging for something that does not even taste as good as it should or the way it used to taste. Just stop it. I am sadly giving up cheez'its. Better ingredients, better buying experience
Cheez-its tastes good but the ingredients are poison…for such a tasty snack, is it necessary to use TBHQ? They go fast enough to not need an ingredient like this. That and the oils are no good, but that is known.
