    Good product - a well known calcium brand..

    The calcium I have to take daily has to be calcium citrate. With my my CVS coupon savings it works for me!

    Carbonato de calcio

    Unlike other Citracal products, the first ingredient here is calcium carbonate, not calcium citrate, which is the second ingredient. The proportion of the two is not reported on the bottle or fact sheet. It's my fault for not noticing that before I ordered, but I avoid calcium carbonate products, so I was surprised and disappointed. The reason I am willing to spend far more on Citracal products than I would on generic calcium products is precisely for the calcium citrate.

    convenient time release

    Since calcium can't be absorbed at concentrations between 5-600 mg at a time, the time release product is very convenient. You won't risk forgetting a second dose when you use a time release product.
