Much much darker than the box promised. Toscana came out BLACK. I'm hoping this washes out quickly. Super disappointed and irritated. Didn't smell strong so I guess that's a good thing, but the only good thing. I don't understand how they got the color so wrong. I kept it on for only 20 minutes. Just NO
I've been using this dye since January 2025. Today I can say that my hair is simply damaged. The dye definitely DOES NOT COVER my gray roots, and as soon as it gets on hair that's already colored, even if it's 8 weeks old, it turns BLACK. This is the worst dye I've ever used. I just got back from the hairdresser who had to cut my hair very short to hide these damaged, dry, and black hairs, and I will never use this dye again.Reply from Clairol4 days agoHi there! STOP!!! Don't waste your time & Money
Purchased today and just finished the process. A half an hour into color I noticed that it wasn't much of a change so I decided to leave it in longer. Left it in for 45 minutes and then it was time to wash it out so I followed the steps, did the rinse did the bonding and nothing. The only difference was my roots were a little lighter. My hair started out as a strawberry blonde and ended with a strawberry blonde. Don't waste your time and money if I could have given it less than one star I would have.Reply from Clairol2 weeks agoHi there! So Very Dark
I have been using Nice & Easy 9 Blonde for a very long time with amazing natural looking results. I wanted to try ColorStrong but with no level 9 option, I decided on the level 8 natural, Malibu. My hair looks abysmally dark. I couldn't have imagined a single level would make such a huge difference and it's very disappointing. The formula seems good and I hope that Clairol will come out with a level 9 option but until then, I will be returning to Nice & Easy.Reply from Clairol3 weeks agoHi there! A disappointment
When I saw Clairol's new hair color I was so excited and couldn't wait to try it. The application process was very easy and it went on so much better than others. There was no bad smell either. Sadly, after I rinsed it off I was extremely disappointed. It didn't dye most of my gray hair. It says 100% gray coverage. That is definitely false advertising. The color was not as vibrant as I expected and much lighter. It definitely wasn't worth what I paid. I can get better coverage with other hair color. I can usually go 4 to 5 weeks without coloring and I know that isn't going to happen with this one. I still have too much gray.Reply from Clairol4 weeks agoHi there! Primer ruined my hair
The colour is lovely and close to the chart on the box BUT the primer (step 1) is very awful it damaged my hair (my hair keeps breaking after applying this as step one before even apply the colour???). DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I have light brown hair with highlights with some grow out and a few grays peeking through here and there. I purchased the Light Ash Brown just hoping to cover the couple of grays and bring my hair back to a light brown shade. This turned my hair almost black. I am so disappointed. I can't afford a color correction at the salon. I am stuck looking like a washed out EMO person. Not cool Clairol!!Reply from Clairol1 month agoHi there!
