How To Clean Reusable Water Bottles
You should clean your reusable water bottle regularly even if it's just used for water. It can be a breeding ground for bacteria, mold or mildew.
Here are some ways you can clean them:
Dishwasher: This only applies if it is dishwasher safe.
Soap and water: With a bottle brush, dish soap and hot water this is a quick and easy method. Make sure you get in all the little spots, too.
Baking soda: This is good for lingering odors. Simply put one teaspoon of baking soda in your cup and fill it with hot water. Stir to dissolve the baking soda and let it sit overnight. Rinse it out before using it.
Vinegar: Fill your bottle with equal parts of distilled white vinegar and water. Shake it up and swish it around and then leave it overnight. Rinse it in the morning and it'll be good to use.
