I am absolutely amazed at this powder. I am 45 and do have fine lines. Best powder I have used so far. Definitely see a more youthful complexion. I did read the reviews and have to agree that Covergirl needs to make this in the yellow tones rather than just the pink tones. That is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. The powder I've been searching for!
I LOVE this powder!! I am 47, with dry skin and fine wrinkles. I am also a licensed cosmetologist, and I have tried many different powders during this phase of my life. It does not look powdery, thank you! It sets my makeup without making me look older, or making my fine lines around my eyes look all dried out. Great job! Love this stuff! This powder is PHENOMENAL!!!! I can't say enough good things about it. It has definitely become an absolute STAPLE in my makeup routine! I use the shade Classic Ivory for my face (when I actually do add powder to my face, but it's not very often) I usually hate having powder on my face, but this stuff does not look powdery AT ALL! It is beautiful! But why I am really leaving this review is NOT about the shade in my skin tone match, but the shade SOFT SABLE! I believe it is the darkest shade…. That shade is my PERFECT Contour/Bronzer all-in-one shade! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I have a pretty light complexion and my undertone is more on the cool side, so most actual bronzers are entirely too orange for my liking. There isn't much to choose from as far as contour goes at the drugstores either. I just happened to pick this powder up on a whim one day because I loved how it looked in my regular shade. I figured I would try it because I have had luck with darker face powders working as contour/bronzer on me in the past. THIS ONE in the shade SOFT SABLE beats them ALL for me! High end or not! This stuff is the BOMB! It is the PERFECT color for my complexion. I really hope this powder is a hit and stays available forever because I have finally found my perfect contour/bronzer product! Perfection!
I am ecstatic over this product! I have searched high and low for a pressed powder foundation that would give excellent coverage on my oily acne prone skin. Well, I have to say that my search is over! I have never been so pleased with a powder foundation as I am with this one! I do not have to use a concealer with it! The coverage is amazing, and I feel so fortunate that I found my perfect match in Buff Beige. Covergirl, please do not discontinue this product! Best powder foundation ever!!
I have oily skin, large pores, im 37 and a nurse, which means i wear a mask for about 14 hours straight. This foundation gets even more beautiful as the time passes, looks so natural and smooth and never cakes up. The only con is that they all have pink undertones. Covergirl, please make some yellow undertones. This is the only reason why i am looking for another brand. Yes! Powder for Dry-Skinned Gals!
For those of us cursed with dry skin, finding a powder is usually a pointless endeavor. After watching a YouTuber who has dry skin, she raved about this and I gave it a try. Amazing! This is the only powder I can wear that doesn't make my skin erupt in dry flakes (sorry, TMI).
