[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this product itself is great - produces a matte finish that doesn't highlight/sink into fine lines, the translucent powder made me look like Powder from the movie "Powder". Average powder

Not even close to my shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I am running into the same issue that I've had with Cover Girl for years. The press powder foundation is still too light for my skin tone. It doesn't blend well and it makes me look dull and ashy. My current skin tone is already lacking because it is the winter. I wasn't expecting it my make me look even more dead. Cover girl was one of the very first product lines I ever tried to use as a young person experimenting with makeup. Partial to liquid

But I am partial to liquid foundation as powder tends to eventually dry and sit in the wrinkle crevices. It makes older skin look dry and crepey. In LOVE!
I am so impressed with this powder! Let me start by saying I have been a make up artist for over 20 years, using all very expensive high-end products. This powder it's better than all of them combined and so affordable. The finish is beautiful and I think it would work for any skin type. I have both the translucent for setting under eye concealer, which it does beautifully, and classic Ivory for setting the rest of my face.
