New parent/plant person MUST!
I've had this humidifier for almost a year now and I love it. So much so that we got 2 more of the same one! We have one in each baby's room. Our little ones love getting to turn on the "volcano" and dancing in the falling steam. With being in California during all the wildfires this year, this drop humidifier helps keep the smoke smell to a minimum in the house. I also use one for my plants. Having the ability to change the amount of steam for the plants around it is extremely helpful. It's incredibly easy to clean and fill. It gives you a green light when there's enough water to keep working and a red light when it needs refilled. One fill, even on the highest setting, lasts us nearly 24 hours. You can even rotate the nozzle piece to guide the steam in a different direction! Cute and Works Great!
I am so glad we got this Drop Cool Mist Humidifier! We originally got this for our baby's room to help with dry skin and nasal congestion. It was perfect for the nursery because of how quiet it is when running! We now use it in our room especially during the school year and winter months to help keep sickness away. It really works wonders for congestion, dry skin, and chapped lips. Depending on the day we move this to different rooms and it has worked well in our small nursery, to medium-sized bedrooms, and larger basement. We can really notice the difference between when we use it and when we do not. I can't imagine going through the school year let alone a winter without it. Plus it looks nice and decorative. I bought this this humidifier about a year ago to use in my kids room during cold and flu season. (My children are still too young for cold medicine, and the humidity helps with stuffy noses!) It works really well. I've found other humidifiers tend to leave a lot to wetness around the device, and I feel as though this one blows the cool misty air out pretty far so that doesn't happen. It also holds a lot of water, so on a lower setting, I can have it going all night. I do find that you should make sure you empty it daily and clean it with some vinegar/water mix once a week, as getting the inside clean is hard otherwise (the top doesn't fully come off). Great little machine that does it all.
After owning several humidifiers over the years and after seeing a product review by Jamie the "baby guy", I decided to try this Crane Drop. It is quiet,easy to set up, and cool to the touch. I love the ease of use,built in night light feature, and simple cleaning procedures to keep it germ free for my family. I did purchase the hard water filter which makes our hard tap water work well in this machine. I love Crane Ultrasonic Humidifiers!
I have used Crane Ultrasonic Humidifiers for many years. I love them; 365 nights out of the year. I have a condition of dryness, and the additional humidity is a great help to me. Perfect to use every night!
I currently use this in my bedroom, and normally every year I get the dreaded sinus infection as soon as the weather starts turning cooler at night.
