Top-notch meter with a few flaws.
This meter, called the Aga Matrix Jazz, is produced by CVS and is a top-line glucose meter. It boasts great accuracy and I use it regularly. However, the backlight quality is poor, which is a downside for me due to diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, the meter lacks Bluetooth functionality, so you won't be able to transfer your information from the device to your phone using an app unless you use an app that allows manual input, like the Glucose app. These are the only significant issues with this meter. I chose this glucose monitor bc my step daughter is a type-1 diabetic and I wanted to have it around just in case. This model is not the most advanced but it's ok for a back up. I think it should be less money but it works fine and comes with everything you need. Great product for the price range!
Upon initial opening, the packaging and instructions are very thorough although the kit is very self explainable. It comes with a quick start guide that is easy to read and understand. The meter along with the case feels to be very durable and accurate for its price range. Top of the line meter with a few shortcomings
This meter comes from aga matrix the meter is called the aga matrix jazz. This meter is produced by CVS and it is a top line glucose meter. It has great accuracy and I use it all the time the meter stores over 1800 test results which is very good for me so I have a list of my previous entries that I can look at the meter has a back light but the back light is very poor quality. I can't really see it very well because I have diabetic retinopathy and the meter does not have Bluetooth so you will not be able to transfer your information from the device to your phone on an app unless you use an app that will allow you to manually put the information in like the glucose app. That's pretty much the only problems with this meter is it doesn't have Bluetooth functionality but the other than that, the meter is great.2 users found this review helpful.
