Would recommend but read this:
I have had thumb pain from repetitive activity like knitting for about 2 years. Most of the time it’s fine, but it can be re-damaged more easily than normal. I must have 6 different thumb splints and they’re all about the same. They’re fine. This one is excellent but it takes a lot of work. - We had to microwave it for 1 minute. Start with the recommended amount, but that didn’t even make it warm for us. - After 1 minute it was pliable enough to shape, but there’s no way I could have molded it on the thumb that was in pain, it would have made it worse so - have someone else with a similar hand size mold it on their thumb/hand. That’s after figuring out how it’s even supposed to go on, the directions are awful. Doesn’t activate
I put it in microwave as instructed. Doesn’t form for my hand. Definitely is not one size fits all. It doesn’t contour to my thumb for the support from pain where I need it. It doesn’t contour need better illustrations in the box maybe that would help. No user friendly instructions

Good in an emergency only
It isn't one size fits all, not for small to medium hands. Hard to properly fit, gets lumpy, takes a microwave to heat, not everyone has a microwave or easy access to one, takes many times to get it to fit even somewhat comfortably. Only comes in one size.

Does not help arthritis
This is not for people’s who have arthritis of the thumb joint. It did not help pain at all. Sever years ago I bought a different brace at CVS that was perfect.
