Comes in handy
This little item comes in handy when trying to break the pill that are hard to swallow. This really breaks them down. Works well and easily
Ok. So I don't like the pill storage on top. It doesn't seem tight fitting enough and certainly isn't appropriate for people with children or curious pets. That being said, the actual pill crushing part does what it is supposed to do without a lot of effort. I am a cancer patient. I have a feeding tube. I need to be able to crush pills finely enough to dissolve them in water so it doesn't clog my tube. Granted, some pill particulate does seem to stick to the crushing stump but it is easily knocked off by tapping it over the bowl. Easy to handle. Easy to wash. Put it upside down to dry. It isn't complicated at all. While the plastic doesn't seem like the absolute best quality, it doesn't feel cheap and flimsy either. I am only using it to crush one pill at a time, because of the way I need to use it. 50cc of water per pill to make sure my tube doesn't clog. I can't say how it would work for crushing multiple pills at one time, but if you have weak hand strength that might become an issue the more pills you put in. I am extremely disappointed in this pill crusher and wish I could return it. It does not grind vitamins into fine powder and takes a lot of strength if they are large pills. It turns it into large clumps and it then sticks to the bottom so I have to scrape it off. It is such a pain to use.
