This test was easy to use and super convenient. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Once I sent it in it did not take very long to get the results back. This vitamin D testing kit has easy to follow directions and is very easy to use. It's got several steps but nothing too complicated. You have to bleed on a card and send it away to get it tested. Results are fast and easy to understand. I bought this CVS Health Vitamin D test a few weeks ago. The kit was easy to use. It came with a pamphlet and video directions. They kept me updated by text and email on the arrival and status of my test. It took 1 week to get my results. My only complaint is that I had to Google what the normal range of total vitamin d is because it wasn't provided. My result gave me the number and told me it was normal but I wanted to know how close to normal it was. They also gave the option to consult a doctor, which I did not use. I tried the CVS vitamin d at home test kit. It was really easy to use. I was worried my kit wouldn't be able to be read because my blood ran touched on two sample spots, but within a week of sending it away I received the results. The only comment I have is that the lancet they send with the kit is really strong and I got a bruise on my finger tip. But the instructions were clear, it was really easy to fill out and mail back, and I got the results in a timely manner. I was really happy with this kit. Great test!
I have a documented vitamin D deficiency and recently received this test to take. I wanted to see how accurate it was, so I got the test, unpacked it, and used it as directed. This test was very easy to use and once I had a sample, I sent it off as directed. When I received the results they were very similar to the results I received from the doctor's office. I would say it is very accurate, easy to use, and costs a lot less than the test from the doctor. I was surprised at how easy this Vitamin D test kit was to use. The instructions were both made available in the kit and on the website with quick statements on what your next steps are. Some of the downsides for me were that no matter how steady my hand the drop of blood spread more towards one side making it difficult to fill the circle as instructed. Also unless you have the email/text it is hard to find the link to sign in to the account and access results. I would suggest the link be made available on all the kits decriptions on the cvs website. As for the website itself, it was simple to use but I wished there was an option to just email the results to your health care provider instead of printing/downloading it first. Easy to use, easy results
I'd been suspecting my son was low on vitamin D due to a number of symptoms I recognized from my own struggle with low D but he's a teenager and it's impossible to get him to the doctor. This test was perfect - easy to use, easy to get results, and was much more effective for us than a trip to the doctor ever would be. I'm impressed in the accuracy of the results, which did indeed indicate his vitamin D was low so we could take the next steps to correct it. Works great
This test works great. It helped me alot. I found out that I needed to up my vitamin D in take. I was able Tonasket my Doctor how much more I should take with the test results I had found out. The results were really low too.0 users found this review helpful.
