Keeps finger cold
The CVS Finger Injury Cold Pack is an adult size wrap that goes in the freezer and is left there until it is time to use it. I originally thought that this would come in handy for the grand kids but it is definitely more of an adult size. It had been in the freezer a couple of days and was cold when taken out but not sold stiff. You slid your finger into the sleeve and there is a Velcro strap that you wrap around it to hold it in place. I felt that no matter how hard or tight I wrapped I wrapped it , it didn't seem to get a good squeeze on my finger. It was on but I felt the chill more in my finger tip then the rest of the finger. Also the sleeve can still easily slide of your finger. I felt that it seemed to fit better on my thumb. The sleeve stayed cold for approximately 30 minutes. When it comes down to it , it did chill my finger , although I feel that it should be able to be wrapped tighter.0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendoSingatuneReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Good idea
This is a really good idea for a small icepack. It is not easy for me to keep it on my finger, however. I will likely add a rubber band or something to make it stay put. I have very small fingers, so it would probably work better for someone with larger hands. I will definitely use it, though. Its cold but doesn't freeze your hand because of the material its made of.0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionCIsabellReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Loved it
I loved the CVS Health Finger Injury Cold Pack. This came in really handy when I jammed my thumb nail. I love that it is reusable. I know that my kids will be using it in the future. I like how it has a velcro strap to keep it on while using it.0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendoHorderlynjReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Great first aid addition
The perfect addition to your first aid kit. At first One would think "who needs this?". Then, your kid bangs their finger in a door/drawer and screams in pain. And suddenly this becomes necessary. No more fumbling with an ice back flipping your finger around. Easy to use, gets cold fast. Recommend to parents and caregivers; anyone with a first aid kit0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendoLkjoyceReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Must have for First Aid Kits
This ginger injury cold pack was certainly impressive. It was also attractive and has an attachment strap - how cool is that? How many of us remember having to hold ice around our finger? So glad someone put this on the market.0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendobatmomacReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Targeted Icing
I don't have an existing injury at present to fully test how effective the CVS Health Finger Injury Cold Pack works to treat a finger injury, but I did try this out to test out how it works. First off I was happy with how quickly it froze after putting it in the freezer. I also like the concept of providing the sleeve as a form of protection for your skin if the gel pack is too cold.. I really like this, as it provides more targeted icing for your finger because in the past when I have used cold packs for a finger injury, they are so big that you can't ice all around your finger. The fit was good as well when strapped properly so I am looking forward to using this instead of a big ice pack next time I jam/ hurt my finger. Until getting this, I didn't realize cold packs existed just for your finger0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendoHondaReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Works nicely
This has been but to use many times in the 2 weeks that we have had it. It is great for little bumps and bruises that happen during the day. We keep it in the freezer. It is easy to put on and fasten.0 users found this review helpful. - Review collected as part of a promotionSí, recomiendoTGiddyReviewed 2 years agoCalidadDe 5ValorDe 5
Great double duty product
My son plays youth football and he jammed his finger at his last game. Luckily, I had this on hand so I tried it out on him. He's 12 but this worked well for providing a splint type of rigidity but the cold pack made it extra helpful! This helped him to reduce swelling and recover quickly.0 users found this review helpful.
