I have been purchasing these for years. They always have been easy to apply. Now, It is very difficult to remove the plastic backing on the patch. Very difficult to apply. If I needed to apply it to my neck or lumbar spine, it would not be possible. I have 4 boxes and they are all like that. Thin and gluey
I usually like CVS brands but was disappointed in the back patches. The backing is hard to get of and roll up and stick together. The pain med is gluey.
