I didn't use it for motion sickness, so I can't comment on that. I needed something to settle my stomach, whic was upset due to antibiotics, and ginger-ale wasn't helping. I prefer Bodine 10 hour. This 24 hour motion sickness medicine had me tired for a whole day. But the store was out of the 10 hour. It worked and I didn't get motion sick but I was tired for too long after the boat ride.
