I purchased this as a family member darkened our doorstep with the dreaded CoVID. My other thermometer was not working, most likely the battery, so purchased this one. Doesn't give a correct temperature
Bought this today because our one year old was running hot and was sluggish. The digital forehead and hear monitor from CVS was giving temps from 98-103 within a one minute span. I went to CVS to get one that could read underarm and rectal temps. As soon as I got home, I took it out of the package and put it under her arm. It came back 94.7. Tried again and it showed 95. My husband then tried it on himself....96. He took off the underarm attachment and put on the oral attachment just to see if it would work....97.7. He always runs hot, temperature wise. Works until it doesn’t
I bought this thermometer about 2 months ago for my newborn and it worked perfectly fine. Then recently it just stopped working all together. The underarm temp reads 94 degrees each time and the rectal reading says L and takes about 30 seconds to even beep. Great thermometer!
The most helpful part is that it has many heads for different usage. Rectal, by mouth or armpit are very handy and easy to use. Not accurate
Only reads 94-95 degrees. Did not work. Always read temperature as 95.7
When using a thermometer, you would expect an accurate reading. Every temperature taken was registered as 95.7, no matter what method or which person.
