The thermometer was small, portable and easy to read. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the medicine cabinet or in my suitcase when traveling. Better than the forehead temperature takers
As someone who worked as an RN, I feel that the in the mouth thermometers are much more accurate than the ones that take the temperature aiming at the forehead. They are not even touching skin or flesh. I was ill and there was a difference between taking my temperature with the forehead thermometer and the digital in the mouth thermometer. Gives inaccurate low readings
I had this brand thermometer from years ago. Loved it. Then it died so I had to replace it. The replacement thermometer never reads as a normal reading. Temp is always low. I checked back to back with other thermometers and it is more than a degree off.
