Latex-Free Non-Stick Pads - First and foremost: they are secure, no flapping open, no falling off. I have extremely thin skin on my hands. This product holds securely and does not remove any skin when replacing it. I would not accept a 'substitute' if these were not available. I use CVS's website to find out where they are in-stock. I would not walk a mile for a Camel [a brand of cigarettes]. Does what it says, does not stick to wound or scab
I used this pad for a bleeding wound on a flexible part of my skin, where a scab had difficulty forming, and the wound was not healing even after a week of Bacitracin ointment. This pad protected the skin enough for a scab to form. The wound then healed in four days.
