Please go back to the old sheer cool formula!!! This new scent stinks!! I'm going to have to find a new deodorant. New formula is awful.
The original version of this specific deoderant was amazing. However, the new version, “sheer cool”, instead of the invisible sheer cool is repulsive. It smells awful, and isn’t effective. WHY did you change the scent?!?!
The old sheer cool scent i would give 5 out of 5 stars on all fronts. I put this new one on (as i was unaware that the scent of it was different) and as soon as i put it on I realized how awful it was. It’s too strong and it is BAD (my husband agrees that this new version stinks). I had to wash it off - it took some serious scrubbing to get all the stink off me. I am SO disappointed that i purchased 2 packs of this!! Ugh! Dove Changed the Smell of the Invisible Sheer Cool
I’m SO UPSET WITH DOVE FOR CHANGING THE SMELL OF THE, What used to be the Best Smelling Deodorant, INVISIBLE SHEER COOL. The new bad smelling deodorant only says “Sheer Cool” the old one says “Invisible Sheer Cool” Beware, there is a difference between them and how they smell. I Have gone to every store and smelling the now labeled “Sheer Cool” and it smells awful!!!! Like fake baby powder! The old better smelling “Invisible Sheer Cool” smelt sweet and DELICIOUS! I used to have people smell my pits just to prove how good it was & everyone would agree, even after having it on for hours!!!! This was the best. It's ruined.
I've used Dove deodorant for at least 15 years - long enough when this scent had a different name. The scent was discontinued for awhile and then a few years back was packaged under this name. I was SO EXCITED. (Look, I love the scent - I literally bought all the bar soap I could find with it when that got discontinued ... enough to last me for literally years.) Then about a month ago I got a new stick and ... It Was Not The Same. I thought maybe it was some sort of QC issue and proceeded to buy multiple sticks from multiple store chains in multiple markets. Nope, they all smell like slightly off baby powder. That's horrible enough but the formula doesn't even work anymore. I thought I was just having some failure because of the insanely hot weather we've been having, but nope, even with the return of moderate temperatures it still fails - and badly. I'm not sure what the ingredient or formula change was, but seeing all the reviews for this line i at least know I'm not alone. In the future, if you monkey with formula, at least change the labeling to reflect that it's a new formula. So sad about the new scent
I’ve been buying this deodorant for years. I bought a new one after I ran out and noticed the scent changed. I thought I might have been imagining it, but it appears the formulation has changed, and the packaging is slightly different. I had to wipe off the deodorant because the smell got worse throughout the day. New version smells sour
The new scent is anything but cool or sheer. I loved the previous scent and switched to it after they discontinued the apple and white tea. Now I’m back to finding something else because this one smells sour. Almost like the lime or grapefruit overpowers everything but it’s not even an actual citrus smell- it just smells awful.
