Better than an expensive beauty blender

I bought this on vacation because I had lost my beauty blender, but now I'm never going back. It's great and affordable! Must have!

    I don't like this sponge

I bought this sponges a couple of weeks and read the instructions on how to use this sponge, which is no different from other sponges, followed step by step yet it still soaks up my foundation and concealer. I have seen some of the responses elf gives back to people complaining about this sponge and all you do is give instructions on how to use this sponge. I don't think it's necessary to tell us how to use it because we have read it here online or know how to use it already. This product is clearly not working and you need to let us know what your going to do about it because $5 for a sponge that doesn't do what it suppose to is a waste of money. My money!

    FYI - blender users!

I noticed that many reviews mention that the blender "soaks up, drinks, uses up" a ton of foundation. I don't think that many users understand that you need wet the sponge before using it . First run the sponge under water, squeeze out the excess so that you are left with a throughly damp sponge. Apply a dime size of foundation on the back of your non dominant hand. Dab the sponge in the foundation and begin to apply to skin using a light and quick "bouncing or tapping " motion. To build coverage, pick up a little more foundation and go over the areas that need more coverage again by lightly and quickly bouncing and tapping repeating until you have the coverage you want. You should never drag the sponge over the skin like you normally might when using a traditional makeup application sponge or pad- use bouncing/tapping motions only. You will always use the sponge damp when using foundation, concealer, cream blush etc. When applying powder, you still want to have a barely damp sponge, and use the same bouncing/tapping motion. If desired, after applying foundation concealer etc. with the sponge you can apply powder in areas where you need a little bit more coverage with a damp sponge and then finish the entire face with powder and the appropriate powder brush. You can also skip using the sponge for face powder altogether and just use the sponge for applying foundation, concealer, highlighter etc. and use a different method ( powder brush, velvet puff ,.. etc) for applying powder.

    "durable?"

I noticed the sponge had a tear in it after i washed the sponge once and let it dry. I think some of the other customers that said their's tore should get refund...maybe. The description of this product says it's durable too but it does not seem to be since other people besides me said their sponge tore.

    Surprisingly Great Sponge!!

I bought this in order to try to save money from the more expensive beauty blenders. Wow!! I don't know what everyone is saying about their sponges breaking?? Mine is perfect and I use it everyday. I've had it now for at least 5 months. I also clean it daily and have had NO tears. This sponge is incredibly soft, a great ergonomical shape, and makes my makeup look like my natural skin! I've gotten many more compliments on my makeup since I started using this sponge! IF you use it correctly (wet it before use, don't rub -tiffany dab instead - and clean it regularly) then you won't have issues with it! Such a great find and I couldn't be happier!

    Great blend!

I bought this product when I came home for summer break because I accidentally left all my makeup in storage. It did a fantastic job blending my makeup didn't hold too much product and gave me a nearly effortless blend. Unfortunately, as soon as I washed it, and squeezed to be sure I got out all the water and leftover makeup it tore. I personally would only recommend this product for minimal usage, such as your beauty blender being out of reach but you don't want a really expensive sponge for a one time event either.

    Waste of foundation and money

I bought this a month ago hoping it would blend my liquid foundation. To my surprise it not only soaked up any foundation I tried to apply, it REMOVED anything already on my face. Tried twice, both times had to redo everything.
