New Irish Spring soap is horrible
The New Irish Spring soap is terrible. The fragrance can't match the original and is almost non existent. The soap itself is slimey on your body and due to the slime seems to crack and disintegrate while in the soap dish waiting to be used. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL! New Formula Sucks
Bring back the original and charcoal formulas. Same Irish spring I remember!
I don't understand all these negative review. The modernized Irish spring with flaxseed oil was really an improvement it wasent so drying. But that's been removed now for the light green orginal Irish spring packaging witch is the original bar but I think people have really forgot what Irish spring soap smells like. It was always you love it or hate it soap. This is how I remember Irish spring always smelling even in the 90's so I don't know why all the complaints. I really do enjoy showering with Irish spring original and nobodys gonna say you smell bad. It's an excellent strong deodorant soap as always. Bring back the REAL original bar of soap. Changing the packaging didn't change the bar inside. This "new" version is still the same ingredients as the "original clean". I have been purchasing Irish spring original bar soap for over 25 years+, love everything about the product. I typically purchase the 8 pack, and it last for approximately 3-4 months, that is equivalent to changing the bars about every 2-3 weeks. Let me say it is just my husband and I showering once a day. I began to notice the new bar of the soap barley last a week. Let me explain better: the old packages are LOT5012MX111715:28A, the box is a dark green, these bars last 2-3 weeks, LOT5074MX112702:12A is the newer package I purchased, the box is a light green. I am not sure if the ingredients were changed or what, still smells just like normal to me, maybe a little less scented but definitely not a game changer for me. Long and short of it, whatever changes you made to the product definitely reduce its longevity, which means people by more and you make more, total get that and it's the nature of the beast, but to cut the product longevity in half…… is this the new recipe or possible a batch that was mixed properly. Not sure how all that works. This is not negative at all and will continue to purchase the Product until it gets too unreasonable. Just giving feedback, wanted or not. Haha.
