    Replaced a similar model that reached its EOL

    I had a basic Kidde CO alarm like this one for about 10 years that started beeping, indicating it had reached its End Of Life. So I looked for the same model to replace it, and was happy to find one at nearby CVS where I could use a % off coupon, matching a low price that I found online but which would have taken a few days for the alarm to be delivered. Also, I thought I had found the exact same model but there was one difference which I found to be an improvement: It required only two AA batteries, instead of three as the older model required, making them easier to replace in the future, since batteries are usually sold in packages in even numbers! I find it annoying to be left with one odd battery since very few devices require only one battery, and I think batteries are supposed to paired with other batteries of the same age.

    Does the job well!

    I purchased this carbon monoxide detector to replace one that I had for about 15 years. It makes me feel safe and whenever it's tested, it works properly.
