Horrible
Omg.. this formula is horrible. I've tried many foundations. The foundation is thick and hard to spread on your face. Shows every crack on your face. Starts to get oily right away. I loved the old formula. I tried so many foundations and that was the best. Sorry to see it go. Looking for a new foundation.Reply from L'OrealHace 4 añosHi there! Recommend, but do the 1/4" color test snip.
I'm timid about coloring my hair but my golden blond had turned Madelain Kahn Grey at the temples (think Young Frankenstein) so my husband purchased 8N Medium Natural Blonde. I did a balayage of sorts, paying closer attention to the temples. Left it on 5minutes less than recommend and I'm thrilled with the results. The grey now appears as blond highlights and there's no line of demarkation where I started the coloring. The conditioner is fabulous. As I said, super timid about hair color, especially DIY jobs. Red Cap Formula is awful!

Horrible Reformulation!
I had used the original pro-matte foundation (black cap) since they first launched it. I ran out and went to the store to buy a fresh tube. It had a red cap and i had a gut feeling they had changed it. I went home and compared ingredients- YUP! They are different!! I decided to try it anyway but after several uses it's just plain terrible. The original was my holy grail, ride or die, work-horse foundation that I used whenever I wore make up. 110° Dry heat? Foundation still looked perfect. 80° and 80% humidity? Foundation still locked and loaded... having to wear a mask? Still going strong. But this new formulation is trash. It starts to look oily within an hour. It looks cakey immediately upon application... and it even completely rubs off where my mask and glasses touch. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA! How dare L'Oréal try to pass this off as the same thing. I will not repurchase this again, and if they try to solve it by just adding a black cap to the new formula I won't be fooled. New formula is awful, period.
I saw they had a new formula and didn't think anything of it and my face started to break at awful. Didn't wear makeup for a couple weeks and noticed my acne was better. Formula definitely changed!
I have been using this makeup for years and absolutely loved it! The new one with the red cap is not even close to my old one. It's such a shame. The color isn't even the same. My new one is thick and gross and makes my face look like I have on a mask. Please bring back the old one! If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!!!!!Reply from L'OreealHace 4 añosHi there! New formula is awful!!!
Bought my normal ABSOLUTE FAVORITE foundation to realize they changed the formula! It's so thick, sticky and greasy feeling! Makes my face feel so heavy. SO disappointed. Yes, the formula has definitely changed!
I saw where Loreal team member told another reviewer that this product has not changed. Yes, it has; I have been using this product for years, and I for one don't understand how you would possibly think that consumers wouldn't notice it has changed! This new formula with the red cap goes on thicker and does not look or feel the same on the skin. Very disappointing that you would change the formula so many of us loved, and more insulting that you would try to deny the change when we express our displeasure with this new formula.Reply from L'OrealHace 4 añosHi there!
