Directions say the hair mask will not change the color of your hair. That is a lie. My hair is now darker than when I started and my highlights that were blonde before I started are gone. Now my hair is brown and orange.. it ruined my hair and I want to cry. Im so mad. Why lie to the consumer and say that the mask that is dark colored is not going to change the color when is certainly does.Reply from Customer Care Center1 year agoHi Jojo! The mask turned my hair bright orange
I am so sad, I hate giving bad reviews. I have white grey hair in the front of my head. New haircut revealed dark blonde with grey strands so I thought I would highlight. I bought this kit, highlighted only the back. Used the dark purple mask as directed and my whole head was a bright orange, not unlike our orange tabbly cat. It was the mask that turned my hair orange. Terrible
My light blond hair turned orange and brown. Followed the instructions exactly. Easy and nice result, more copper then expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the process easy and i like the look but like many other reviewers the result is much more copper than the images, even though my natural color is a dark cool blond. I don't mind but i feel there must be something about the toning mask that is not quite right (color seemed correct before) - perhaps its the wait time? Since many other reviewers had the same experience it would bw appreciated for Loreal to publish an answer which could help other customers. Just fine with it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I takes a lot of time and my hair is not even long, but I'm ok with the result. Smell decents, doesn't stink up my house. But it did not highlight my hair, just looked like I used bleach in the wrong places. And it's difficult to make equal stripes without special plastic cap with holes. Toner is too dark and brassy
Product seemed to work fine and was actually happy with the results until I used the toner!! It literally turned my hair reddish brown and darker than it was before. I have no time to fix it now before leaving for vacation. I thought the whole idea of having highlights was to make it lighter.
