    Better than the last bar

    This new bar is much closer to the REAL original bar soap. Although that one was still far superior than any ones so far. My only complaint is the scent, it's ok but still not as good as it was 5 or so years ago. It's kind of drying but let's be honest all bar soap is.

    Terrible Change

    This was a favorite soap in our household. I recently bought the new packaging only to find out the formula was changed. The soap smells awful like fly spray and has a weird consistency. Skin no longer feels clean afterwards. Skin feels weird and has an oily residue. I will definitely be looking for another favorite soap.

    Not good

    After using Lever 2000 for many years we just purchased a supposedly new formula! This soap smells disgusting! Sadly will never use this soap again!

    Bye Bye

    well I been looking for this soap and no luck finding in BC and by the comments here and the changes made to product I will stop looking for it, I use this soap for since it was sold in Canada, and will look for a different brand now... Leaver 2000 why did you change your product and pull it from BC Canada?????

    Quality gone to crap

    I've used this soap for years but am now shopping for another brand. The bars went from 4 oz to 3.75-SHRINKFLATION-but cost the same or more. The quality sucks. Totally different product. Try disappointing.

    Smells like a bad chemical now

    I have been using Lever 2000 Original for over 25 years and now how to find a new soap. The most recent batch I purchased clearly has a new formula that smells SO bad. It is just like a chemical- a bit bitter and pungent, and just - off. Major disappointment.

    cracks open - unattractive

    Went online to message to Lever 2000 about this issue; after seeing other reviews I find this is common, and apparently this is the new Lever 2000. I've used many other soaps; commercial, custom made, homemade, etc and have never seen this issue. Too bad, I have always preferred Lever 2000 but now to unsightly to leave out at sink.

    Very disappointing change of size and formula!

    Since the introduction of Lever 2000 in 1987 I have used this soap exclusively. In my international travels around the world on business, I always carried 1-2 bars (along with a zip loc bag) and used it everywhere. The 4 oz size was a 'hard milled' soap and perfect for a 10-12 day trip. Suddenly the formulation was changed recently to a 'softer soap' and the size reduced to 3.75 oz. I can now barely get a full 7 days out of it. Very, very disappointing that a well known, upscale brand would 'skimp' on such an outstanding product like Lever 2000 Original! As we all know, there a many other brands of soap to choose from and I have never investigated what is available. Maybe now is the time to do so......shame on you Lever for this decision! (Regarding the question of "Would I recommend this product to a friend? I would do so, with a caveat repeating what I said above about the reduced size and formula)
