Leaves hair feeling crunchy and hard
Tried this a couple of times and it has always left my curls feeling hard and crunchy. When washing out it leaves a build up behind leaving the curls dry and coarse to the touch. Use extra conditioner to help add moisture back to hair when using this product. Used correctly, it works for high humidity
I live in Florida where a product that seals moisture in curls/waves is much more necessary to avoid having a frizzy mess. My hair is 2a/2b, fine, with low porosity. I used to be able to use a light lotion and gel on my hair in drier Midwest climates but not here in Florida. My hair needs a stronger hold for humidity and using hairspray to prevent frizz doesn't work in high humidity (at least not for my hair and climate) so I went for this extra hold product that is in a mousse which is great for fine hair that gets weighed down easily. I shampoo, condition, squeeze out excess water with a curly girl friendly hair wrap and then evenly distribute small amounts of the mousse onto DAMP hair. I have tried applying it on wet hair and I used too much product, so much so that my hair ended up crunchy (I scrunched out the crunch and my hair was fine after that but there is no need to overuse it and have to go through another step). Best for curly hair

Didn't live up to the hype
Used for the first time this morning. I was very disappointed. I wanted to love it as it is cheaper than the Curlsmith foam I use. My curls are flat and lifeless. I bought the curl cream as well but have not tried that yet. Please offer travel size!!
I love this foam and I've been using it for years!! I'd love to give you 5 stars but it isn't offered in travel size!!
