Great personal notebook
This notebook is the perfect size for note-taking during meetings or keeping track of personal stuff. I find it less bulky than the standard 8.5 x 11 notebooks which tend to get roughed up in my daily travels. Fits great in my laptop bag or in my weekend tote. Size Does Matter

A disappointment
Can't compare with the former 3-subject college ruled notebook. Prefer the old cardstock cover, 150 page, true 6'1/2" overall size which was perfect for business and personal use. New slightly larger size is awkward to carry. Used to love this now I don't.
Quality of paper has recently gone downhill. Paper is so thin you can see your writing on the back side of the page. It's horrible. This spiral notebook used to be a quality product, until now. Too small now
These used to be my most favorite notebooks to use for work...but no longer. I just bought 2 in Canada thinking that they were the same 8 1/2 x 11 size tear-out paper size and they are not. The tear-out paper is 8 x 10 1/2, and I can no longer fit full 8 1/2 x 11 size sheets in the pockets. I used to be able to store reference sheets inside the covers and in the pockets, now I can't unless I cut them down in size. I had stocked up so hadn't bought for a few years so I'm not sure exactly when these were changed. Maybe this was a cost-cutting measure -- but I no longer find them useful and will have to hunt for a new favorite. What a shame!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on mead.com
