Scarred from the patch
I bought this for my fever blister. Usually I use camphor and abreva and ive never had a scar. This time I used the mederma fever blister patch and I am scarred from it. I am so upset, my beautiful smile is scarred. I am self conscious anyway and now I feel horrible about how my face looks. I wish I had of just used the methods I have for years. I figured a quick fix with the patch and now I have this ugly scar that won't go away. Mederma stan forever
I've been getting cold sores since grade school and have tried absolutely everything to make the healing process more comfortable. I usually get multiple sores at once and sometimes will even get one after the other for multiple days. My record is 6 sores at one time! With the mederma patches, the scabbing stage is completely avoided and I can eat, talk, and live my life without bleeding, oozing, and cracking. I don't know that the healing time is really reduced, but it's 1000% more bearable. I wear these patches to work and while they are somewhat noticeable, I'd rather be seen with little stickers on my face than oozing and scabbing cold sores. I am so glad I did not pay attention to the number of stars. In the review this is a five star product.
