This is a very expensive product compared to others in the same category and it doesn't seem to have any additional benefits other than being "cool" for kids. It does not change color - stays a strong purple that stains skin and left yellow stains on my white plastic drain cover when I washed it off. Bought this for my Son who just turned 4. He was Attacked by a Dog on his face and did a good amount of Scarring. I bought this product hoping it would help and exceeded my expectations. His facial Scars are very minimal and hardly noticeable anymore. 5 years ago, a tragic accident happened where a mirror fell over the scalp of my 19 month old leaving a 4 inch gash above her eye. Today, it is barely noticeable! Today marks 5 years since this happened and I felt the need to write this review.
