I used these after surgery on my neck and my face daily for approximately 3 months. I could trim these sheets to fit my scars and I did wash each of them daily. Because the strips need time to dry, I had about a week's worth ready at any given time to use so I had clean strips every day. After washing, the strips would curl up but once they dried they could be used again. Most important for me is that consistent use did smooth and flatten my scars. Wont’t last long enough to see results
I've been using these for less than a week. I have not noticed a difference in the appearance of my scar, which is fine, I know that takes time. The sheets don't preserve well. I have cleaned them a couple times, the way it instructs in the instructions and the sheets dry rolled up and stuck together. This product does not last as long as it advertises; "Reusable for up to 21 days". Silicone Scar Sheets Work
To help with healing from a 4 inch surgical incision on my neck, my dermatologist and surgeon recommended using the Mederma Silicone Scar Sheets. While pricey, the sheets can be washed with warm water and soap and reused without losing their adhesiveness for about 3 weeks. I also have very sensitive skin and experienced no issues with skin irritation or rashes. Good option
These pads are a good option for scar removal. I like that something is working on the scar tissue while I sleep. They can be used multiple times, but after the first few they do not stick well. I needed to wrap it on so it didn't remove itself while I was sleeping. They say they can be used for a long period of time, but not so long due to the lack of adhesive ability.5 users found this review helpful.
