It's very dense so you don't need to use much at all time, and it adds some texture and hold without making the hair feel crunchy or sticky. I wouldn't go for this product if you want something with especially strong hold, but if a little extra support for lightweight curls is what you're looking for, this has been a nice option! Gluten free!!

Go-to product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Activating Mousse and I honestly love how it makes my curls look and feel. It's super lightweight, gives great definition without that crunchy or sticky texture, and keeps frizz under control. My curls stay soft, bouncy, and natural-looking. The scent is light and fresh, nothing too strong. A little product goes a long way, and it works really well on both wash days and for refreshing curls in between. Great drugstore mousse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Curl Talk Activating Mousse mainly for slick-back styles rather than defining curls, as i don't usually wear my hair natural, and overall I really like it. The scent is light and pleasant-not overpowering-and gives a fresh feel when applying. It holds my hair in place nicely without needing tons of product, which is a plus. One downside is the slightly crunchy texture it can leave behind once it dries. It's not overly stiff, but it's noticeable, especially if you're aiming for a softer finish. Gave my hair more volume, and smells great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This curl defining mousse was the first mousse I've ever tried, and I'm a fan of this brand. I have curly hair that I typically straighten, so I was excited to try this and see if I'll like more curls more. However I had to watch videos to know how to use it since the instructions weren't too clear.. I washed my hair then applied it to damp hair. When I sprayed it on my hands, what looked like a little amount started to grow, so keep that in mind. Then I rubbed my hands together and applied it to my hair. Then I finger coiled each strand. I had to keep wetting my hair since it was drying too fast and becoming sticky. After I finished, I blow dried it a bit since my hair felt sticky and crunchy. This made my hair get more volume, which I love, but my curls lost their shape and my hair remained stiff. It did help with the frizz though. I think I used it wrong or applied too much product since my hair still feels crunchy, so I would need to try it a few times to get the hang of it. Great product! Helps hair to hold a curl all day!

For someone who does not have super curly hair naturally it made my hair pretty wavy for the whole day. It didn't leave my hair feeling heavy or crunchy like some other products I have tried in the past.
