[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was okay i definitely think the shade was off and I wished I had a picture to show. Trust me it was not as dark as I thought it would be when I chosen this color. Obsessed!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A dream to blend! Great product I received this product complimentary from NYX in exchange for my honest review. Like a lot of nyx's products this is sort of multi-use in that it gives you the best of what's usually 2 different brow products in one! I love the concept, one side of the pencil is very sharp so you can fill in your brows with hair-like strokes, meanwhile the other side of the pencil is blunt, so you can outline and shade the tail of your brow. It's got great pigmentation, a light brown that you can make deeper with more layers. The texture is perfect! Creamy and easy to blend, almost like a gel crossed with a pomade. The packaging is perfect and eye catching, and explains the concept with brevity. A great value at its price as well! Highly recommend! Reduced product weight by 50%
Shame on you as a company for shrinkflating your products. I will be taking my business elsewhere because you can get higher end brow pencils relative to the weight. I Love the New Blade n Shade Brow Pencil!
NYX Blade n Shade Brow Pencil Review I recently purchased the NYX Blade n Shade brow pencil from Ulta, and I'm overall very impressed! I bought the shade 'Brunette,' which is described as a neutral brown. While the shade range is fantastic, I found that 'Brunette' appeared a bit auburn on me, which didn't match when I was doing a more "natural" look. But it did give me the inspiration to write this review, and to even suggest that Nyx maybe expands the shade range to include less conventional colors for the folks that like to do less conventional makeup. The application, however, was a dream! The unique blade tip design made creating natural, hair-like strokes incredibly easy and efficient. The texture of the pencil is perfect - a balanced blend of waxy, creamy, and dry. It glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling, yet sets nicely without smudging. The blade tip is a great for precise application and filling in sparse areas, making brow shaping a cinch. Longevity is excellent. The pencil lasted all day on my brows, even in a warm, humid climate. I do set my brows with a light powder, which likely contributed to its staying power. Overall, I'm very happy with the NYX Blade n Shade brow pencil. The innovative blade tip, combined with the perfect texture and long-lasting formula, makes it a new favorite.
