I was even more excited when I noticed there was no trace of coconut oil in the shampoo or conditioner and that the shampoo still had sulfates. My excitement was short lived because Pantene decided to use Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone as preservatives in both products. These preservatives can cause irritation resulting in rashes or itchy scalp. I did attempt to use the products in spite of those ingredients because it is next to impossible to find coconut oil free products with no fragrance. I ended up with great looking hair but a scalp that felt that it had bugs crawling all over it. Needless to say I had to stop using the products. not completely transparent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started off by liking this shampoo and conditioner. I liked that Pantene was focusing on eliminating harmful ingredients. I looked up all of the ingredients and unfortunately there are sulfates in both the shampoo and conditioner, which are used to make it lather but also dry hair out. I leave it on for a few minutes and it makes my hair soft, hydrated enough and tangle free , I love that it is scent less , it doesn't feel heavy at all and it's great detox conditioner that you can use for color treated hair too ! No fragrance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conditioner did not have added fragrance which I know for some can be irritating. I still felt that it helped keep my hair soft.
