Reviewed 1 month agoGreat bottle for babies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Myself and ny husband as new parents were very impressed by Philips anti-colic bottles. We started using it for feeding our baby right from her initial weeks and she could easily get used to bottle-feeding. The main reasons were the amazing power of the inner valves which could control the pace of flow and help immensely in avoiding gas entrapment. These bottles are also very easy for cleaning as every part can be disassembled. Great product and would certainly recommend to all parents!

Reviewed 4 months agoSo much LEAKING!
We have used these bottles for a month and the leaking has been very frustrating. We make sure the vent is in properly every time and it pops out continuously leaking sometimes a half ounce of breastmilk. It can take 3 tries to get it right. We use the Avent bottle warmer, and warm it up with the vent inside, is that affecting the vent? I can't find an answer. I want to like these bottles, my baby does well with them, but am considering a switch.

Nipple doesn't stay filled up. Air gets in, isn't the point of these that air doesn't get in?

Reviewed 5 months agoMilk leaking
My baby bottles are all Phillips Avent, but this baby air free bottle is leaking milk some how. At first, I thought the top might not be on properly, but later found out it's a top part issue.

We had leakage problems with several packages of the 4 ounce bottles we bought, but they were all the same lot number. We exchanged them and haven't had any more issues. I wish that there was a sippy cup conversion kit specifically for the anti colic bottles. These bottles aren't cheap and once your baby is used to them and you've invested in 21 bottles of the 4 ounce, 21 bottles of the 9 ounce and 11 ounce sizes it would be nice to be able to convert them instead of having to start all over with a different size/shape/brand.

I have been using these bottle for two months. And now I have a collection of random bottles that leak from the "air vent" on the nipple. These are the absolute worst bottles. 6 years ago I would swear by them they were the best! But now after having to change my baby girls outfit multiple times a day I have to give just one star. They use to be great but no matter what I do I can't get them to stop leaking from the side of the nipple. Aweful.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle. This is not the kind of experience we want you to have with our product. We recommend that you follow these steps while assembling the bottle to avoid leakage. Place the AirFree vent insert in the bottle before you assemble the screw ring with the nipple. Place the cap vertically on the bottle so that the nipple sits upright. The nipple is easier to assemble into the screw ring if you move it back and forth while pulling it upwards instead of pulling it up in a straight line. Please always make sure the nipple is full of milk by turning the bottle upside down before feeding your baby. While feeding, make sure that the AirFree vent insert points upward, in line with your baby's nose. Also note that the Philips Avent Anti-colic bottles can be used without the AirFree vent insert. We hope this helps improve your experience. However, in case the issue still persists or you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). Don't worry, if you don't use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact. Reviewed 6 months agoBaby girl with reflux & nipple flow preference
Honestly, I had to try five different bottles before finding the right one! This bottle happened to be the right one! Thank god it was because she had reflux & this bottle helped a lot! Hands down great bottles! These are her favorite, especially the nipple & flow. Thanks for making such a great bottle & nipple flow!

Reviewed 7 months agoLeaky bottles!
The bottle seems great in theory, but not when it's constantly spilling milk. After only a month or so of use with these bottles we began to notice the "air free vent" piece wouldn't seal properly to the bottle and caused milk to leak from the nipple area. Of about 15 bottles that we have, almost all of them have begun to leak. Causing mom to get upset about losing the milk she worked hard for, and if we don't catch the leak in time, baby ends up soaked in his food.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing the feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you are facing a leakage issue with your Philips Avent Baby Bottle. We would like to let you know that the incorrect assembly is the reason for leakage. Make sure the nipple is inserted properly through the screw ring, and it is suitably tightened on the bottle without being over tight.
