    Great for open lights

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PIC Insect Killer & LED works great if you have an open light. If you have a any cover over the light fixture the insect killer part does work as well. My brother has and open light fixture and the zapper really does great job. The LED light is very bright and uses little to no electricity.

    Lights Doorway & Helps with Bugs

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to install - just unscrewed the old bulb and screwed this one in. Provided enough light to see and use keys to unlock front door, which is the main use. The issue with spring and summer was all the bugs - moths, mosquitos, and mosquito hawks/crane flies. Coming home when it's dark and having to battle the insects flying at head level while you fiddle with the keys and door lock became super annoying. And inevitably there were always a couple that snuck into the house even when you opened and closed with ninja speed. This new bulb has deterred some of the bugs and killed others. Noticeable difference on our front porch. The bulb has a catch tray inside it to catch the small bugs it kills with the blue UV light. Easy to slide open and clean out. Depending on how bug infested the area is, you might need to do this more often.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this insect light and it works really well. I actually prefer it over the bug zapper. It not only gives off light but it also keeps away the bugs. Super easy to install, and it's LED. Definitely recommend giving this a try.

    Brillain Light Idea

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This two in one insect killer and light is a great idea. Living in the deep South, we get mosquitoes, and living near horse ranches, there are flies. So, any new products I come across for this use, I try. This was simple to install, uses your existing ligjt socket and switch. You're able to use the blue insect light with or without the regular light. There was even a little brush to help clean out the little bug tray when full. Nice!

    It works

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely hate bugs they creep me out, and terrify me and my kids. So of course we need these kind of insect killers especially now with all the bugs starting to come out. My house has built in light fixtures so it was a little hard to test it out at first. Once we were able to get it in one of the fixtures, the next day my husband checked it and sure enough there was bugs! It eased my mind knowing it works! The actual light it gives off is a good amount not to bright, but just right.

    2- in-1 LED light and bug zapper!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I hear insect zapper I think about those big blue hanging lanterns that make a loud noise everytime it kills an insect. So, when I saw PIC Pest Free Living Insect Killer which is a Dual Purpose Bug Zapper and LED Light I had to try it. I live in Louisiana, Mosquito heaven and certain times of the year Flies are a problem. This product looks like a big light bulb with a few tricks. Of Course, it kills mosquitoes and other flying insects on contact in a 855 sq. ft. area but without the loud zapping noise. This is a bug zapper with LED and blue UV light using a 2000 volt electric zapper grid with 195 Lumens meaning its a cool soft lighting. Oh, it fits standard medium sockets (E26) so it will fit your outside light bulb sockets. Now, this is a cool feature you can choose to use the blue light (UV) or the white LED with UV light controlled by your light switch. You simple flip your outdoor light switch and the White LED light come on and you barely see the blue light around the grid.In order to turn off the White light and have just the Blue Uv light on you flip the light switch off for 30 seconds and when you flip it back only the blue light is on. SO, those bugs have to go somewhere when they are killed. This product has a pull out catching tray near the base of the bulb and using the included brush makes cleaning it simple. This product is made for PIC Corporation.     Great product!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PIC Insect Killer and LED Light bulb works great. Having this Light bulb to use as our front porch light is great. It has definitely helped with keeping the bugs from getting in our house. I'm super happy with this product.

    Does a great job

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up awhile back to help keep the bugs in check at my front door. It seems whenever anybody came to my house after dark the old porch light would attract multiple types of flying insects that then would come into the house. Since I started using this Insect killer LED light I no longer have this problem.
