Scotch-Brite makes great sponges
The new Greener Clean sponge works well, as expected. What I didn't expect is the interaction with my organic dish soap resulting in a film I would describe as liquid styrofoam. I've used my organic dish soap for a couple of years with many other Scotch-Brite sponges including the previous Greener Clean sponge made from wood pulp. Perhaps, there is some sort of manufacturing residue in the new Greener Clean sponge made from recycled plastic that is interacting with my organic dish soap. But, I found the "liquified styrofoam" reaction objectionable enough to not want to reuse the sponge. I have been searching on the internet trying to find the previous Greener Clean sponge (made from wood pulp) to no avail.Reply from Scotchbrite1 month agoHello, we're sorry to hear you are having trouble with our product. Easy clean up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this sponge to clean up my bathroom sink. I like the fact that it is a non-scratch sponge. I was able to scrub the dried on mess and then clean up with the sponge. It didn't scratch the surface0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Sí, recomiendodbatReviewed 2 months ago
Just as Good as the Original
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly prefer to use the Greener Clean, not due to the fact that it may potentially be better for the environment, but predominantly because I know it won't scratch some of my "polished" stainless steel kitchenware and the sink. It is, from what I noticed, just as effective as the original, especially when using powdered products like Comet, or BKF. I would imagine it's safest for those with glazed, or porcelain areas, as well.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Sí, recomiendoCarolineReviewed 2 months ago
Greener Non-scratch Sponge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sponges made from recycled material work very well. The scrubbing side cleans without scratching. The white color is refreshing. They can be sanitized in the dishwasher, and are BPA and dye-free.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Sí, recomiendoOhiogirlReviewed 2 months ago
Double cleaning power - sponge & scrubbie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great cleaning sponges -- from dishes to counters to bathrooms to anything else you need to scrub or use a sponge for. Besides the fact that they are greener clean, they are what you expect from #M, a great-working product. I like that there is a sponge on one side and a scrubbing side on the other. In the past I've had to drag around a sponge AND a scrubbie as I was doing my cleaning but this one does both. The scrubbie side doesn't feel very abrasive (and it's "soft" enough to use on non-stick pans) but it can really scrub. If you look at the photos, I used it (with no cleaning products) to scrub my copper sink. You can see where the greenish color that happens to copper came off with just a little scrubbing. I'll be buying more of these!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Sí, recomiendoHipHoperaReviewed 2 months ago
Durable sponge that gets the job done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me this sponge to try out and it's a very great sponge. I love that it's part of their greener line, because I know it's made from recycled material which is important to me. The sponge is very good at cleaning stuck on messes, but gentle enough to not damage anything.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Sí, recomiendolibraryladytooReviewed 2 months ago
Cleans ceramic and stainless steel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a package of Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges free for testing purposes. Today I tested one on several surfaces. I scrubbed a stained coffee mug that had not come clean in the dishwasher. Using the Greener Clean Scrub Sponge and Dawn dish liquid, the stain came off. I then tested it on two non-stick pans that had burnt-on grease. Unfortunately, the non-scratch sponges made almost no difference on the burnt parts, but they did work on the unburnt parts. I also tested it on two aluminum toaster oven pans. It didn't work on those either. The last test was on my stainless steel kitchen sink, which came out nice and shiny.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Scotchbrite - Jody BReviewed 2 months ago
