I've used Selsun Blue for years, and it was perfect for my needs. I liked its crisp menthol scent and the way it instantly banished annoying scalp itchiness. I recently purchased a new bottle -- the new formula. Terrible! It smells awful (like the toilet bowl clearer used in public restrooms), and it doesn't seem to get rid of that itchy scalp feeling. Terrible product
I used it and it made my gray hair turn green and the black hair had a green tint. Interesting enough when I googled my problem it had an answer why this happened. New formula
New formula is TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY. Made hair dry and brittle and 100% not effective. Dandruff came back with New formula vs old. Bring it back. New formula
Have been using medicated version of sensing blue for over 25 years. The NEW formula is a disaster. It is not nearly as effective as the original, the fragrance is awful, and it has made my hair more dry and brittle. Please return the original product. Don't Buy
I have been using your Selsun Blue MAXIMUM STRENGTH Medicated Antidandruff Shampoo for many many years. Recently I purchased one bottle and my scalp after one use was very itchy. Hoping that if I purchased another bottle from a different source the outcome would be different. I had the same results as before. There is no change in the label or any mention of a new formula on the bottle. The product use to be dark blue now, it is light blue. Also there was a brown substance where you had to shake the bottle before use. This is a staple at my house because whenever my father comes to visit it's the only shampoo he will use. He will not use anything else.
