After reading the positive reviews I thought this might be the answer for the gnat/fruit fly problem this year. It has been plugged in for almost two weeks and even though they are flying around it, not a single one has flown into the trap. I've moved it to another plug in the kitchen and still nothing. I was told to close the curtains in the kitchen at night so that it was very dark and that they would fly to it, but that didn't help either. This was a complete waste of money and it can't be repackaged to be returned. I have more success with apple cider vinegar in a lid on the windowsill. Does not work!!
I had it plugged in for 3 days not 1 bug!! Doesn't work
Have it plugged in 24/7 and it hasn't trapped not even 1 bug. It doesn't work. Have it plugged in for a week, not one insect, have gnats and fruit flies. Don't recommend. Did not work for me.

Does not work
Was really excited to try this, we occasionally get a mosquito in the house from the door being left open. The fruit flies and gnats from the kitchen started getting on my nerves. I've had my light plugged in for the last 4 days and nothing. I moved it around my kitchen and still nothing. I see them flying around my house still even go near the light and they don't actually stick on to it. Didn't work for me
I had a fruit fly issue in my kitchen near my sink, bough this because it seemed like the safest choice since I have a small child in my home. I've now had it plugged in for a week and at most the sticky sheet has 3 bugs in it. I ended up going to the store and buying a cheap red trap and that cleared the problem in a day.
