Listen, you guys know what you did but I don't. I know the cooking time has been reduced, which is odd. And it has none of that sharp cheddar flavor we used to love. I added extra cheese and seasonings to make it taste more familiar but it's clearly not the same. What Have You Done?
Your mac and cheese used to taste like homemade. When we tried it this week, I immediately noticed that the sauce was watery. In trying to eat it, the taste was completely different. While it has been tasting like cheddar cheese, this has a grainy texture and tasted like boxed mac and cheese with a "cheese product" taste instead of real cheese. If I want boxed mac and cheese, I can get it a lot cheaper than this. Stouffer's is usually worth the price, but not anymore with this product. I wondered if it was a fluke but after reading other comments here, it's obvious that you've changed to a cheaper and bad-tasting product but still packaged the way it used to be packaged. Srouffers Mac and cheese, not!
I used to love Stouffers Mac and cheese the sauce was thick, creamy and full of cheesy goodness. I have tried it twice in the last two months and found it watery, with little flavor or noodles. Not what it used to be ☹️
I have given it 3 separate tries. Something has changed with your cheese sauce recipe, ingredients, and pasta. This used to be my personal favorite frozen food, nothing compared. But now it's different and no good. Noodles are too firm and the cheese sauce is simply does not taste good. I am sad I cannot be a customer any more. Please consider reversing your recent changes. Horrible
I was looking around a cafeteria and there were no vegetarian options, so I chose Stouffer's mac and cheese. I trusted them to provide me with a delcious meal. Worst decision of my life. I cooked in a microwave like the directions said, and when it came out of the microwave, it was cheese soup! There was no mac. Just cheese. I was shocked to find out that the soup was in fact part pasta when it tasted like water with the texture of plastic. I only took a few bites before I knew I had to throw it away. That night I threw up three times and felt terrible the next day when I ws supposed to compete in a science competion. I got food poisoning. Disgusting.
