Good for a few uses
I used this product and I didn't like it because it's messy. I don't like to touch things after I insert or take it out especially when it gets on your hands. That happens with tampons too, but I also spray bleach in the sink when I dump it. Dumping it in the toilet can be tricky. I've had some trouble with almost pushing it out while using the bathroom. It appears the suction can be affected after a few boils. It's good for the environment which I'm glad because I'm an environmental friendly person. You don't have to empty it as much as you have to change tampons. I usually do although it's not a requirement. It's not as convenient as tampons though. But I'm broke and I already had it so I've had to use it. Since the suction isn't as good now I've had leaking. I had to change my underwear once today. 😐 It has it's good and bad.1 users found this review helpful. - Sí, recomiendoSarahReviewed 11 months agoValor De 5Cumple mis expectativasDe 5Calidad De 5
Menstrual cups are awesome!
I used my previous Divacup for several years. For personal reasons I won't discuss here, I was forced to give it up for awhile and go back to Tampons and pads, which I HATE. Two days ago, I got my first paycheck from my new job and immediately went to buy another Divacup as I was on my period and tired of dealing with tampons. Diva cups are cheaper in the long run, are easy to clean, and have no risk of TSS. I cannot feel the cup when it is in place and sometimes I almost forget I'm on my period! It also saves paper and room in you purse or pockets! Best of all, if you have symptoms of your period starting but no blood yet, it is safe to put the Divacup in ahead of time without worrying about "wasting" an expensive disposable if nothing happens. You also don't have to change products if you change activities. You can swim, run, figure skate etc with the cup in. It is also safe to sleep in and can hold a lot of blood. Leaks happen, but they are rarer than leaks with tampons imo and usually due to user error like not making sure it's fully open or waiting too long to dump it. Get the Divacup and ditch the disposables. Your uterus, your wallet, and the planet will love it.7 users found this review helpful. - VaughnReviewed 3 years agoFirst time user. All is well.
