Defined and moisturized my 4b/4c coils
The first time a product didn't make my hair feel super dry with little to no definition. Tested the product out on dry stretch 4b/4c hair, applied a little the twisted for a twist out. My twist out wasn't defined (probably due to lack of water). I was pleasantly surprised my hair was soft to the touch and felt moisturized. But the lack of hold made me think I waisted my money. So I decided to apply the product to each strand of dry hair no like a wash and go. I was heavy handed with product and applied enough to saturate hair with out water. Got the first time ever I could see my 4c curls/coils popping. I sat under a hooded dryer to dry. I gave up on curl defining and hold products because none of them ever worked. Great style hold

Great mousse for boho curls!

I think it could've done better on a looser texture. New must have

It leaves your hair with a slight sheen without being super shiny which I love. Good product

Sometimes you don't always want super soft curls because it doesn't last long. Good hold but not on your roots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed that the mousse complimemts the gel. However, once it dries, it dried out my hair. Due to this, I tried it again with just the gel and my moisture went back to normal. Nonetheless, the hold it gives my hair lasted all day. Another drawback from continuing to use the mousse or buy more is that the product has phenoxyethanol, which has been linked to hair thinning and loss. I love how the product transforms my hair (minus drying it out) but not at the risk of losing it. If The Doux were to make a clean line of products, I'd be the first one in line. It's a no...again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foam smelled great and had wonderful slip, gliding on to the hair easily. It was a little watery, which helped with distribution in combination with the gel, as well as alone. This foam did not provide hold, nor did it combat frizz. This was tried over several days, using it as directed, on wet, clean hair, as well as on dry hair, as a touch up hairstyle. The hair looked dull, after a day, and there were flyaways galore.
