To remove unwanted odors, we recommend rewashing your garments with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the directed amount of detergent listed on the labels. Additionally, be sure to check the owner's manual on how to clean out your washing machine or do service wash on your machine as this could be the cause of the smell. Firstly, thank you so much for using Tide for so long. We're sorry to hear that your recent batch of Tide smells like this. As you can imagine, with our quality checks, it should never smell like sour fish. This is strange since the last time we made a change to this detergent was back in early 2023 when we improved the scent-bloom.
