Very soothing
I recently had a terrible flare up of hysensitivity. This is very soothing, rich, and quickly calmed my face down. No acne flare up either. I will not return to other products. I am so disappointed. This balm made my skin feel greasy and like it needed to be washed. Avene, please bring back the exact formula of Tolerance Extreme Cream. I used that every day for 4+ years. I was devastated to find it was discontinued, but was told to try Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream in its place. I was hoping it would be the same product with a different name. I tried that and it did not make my skin feel plump and full, like the Extreme Cream used to. I hoped that the Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Balm would be a substitute, so I tried that next. This balm is extremely waxy and greasy. As soon as I applied it, I felt the need to wash my face. I only return things that I know I will never use or recommend.
