This thermometer is very inaccurate. Agree with other reviewer, wildly inaccurate
I have a 99.5 fever and this one showed anywhere from 98 to 99.5 When my son had a 100 fever, it showed anywhere from 97 to 100 I have a different Braun thermometer that’s still a bit iffy, but way more accurate DO NOT BUY THIS. WILDLY Inaccurate. Reads from 103 to 107.
I can't understand why people have rated this so highly. My son had a high fever. The first read, it said 107. Five seconds later it said 103.8. We did 5 or 6 more readings, and they varied between 104 and 107. I really needed to know if he had 107, because that's time to go to the ER. Quick and easy!

It take just a couple of seconds and the color-coded results make it so easy. Green = good, yellow = borderline, red = fever. The lens filters are genius for keeping things sanitary; not to mention the color coded readings to make interpreting the results a no brainer. Plus you don't have to worry about a crying baby that can't keep their head still to get a forehead reading! A lifesaver!

I’ve used armpit thermometers that take too long and forehead ones that had zero consistency. Quick and accurate!
