If it's not aligned correctly, the indicator may not activate. -Check the battery tab. Some units have a small plastic tab that needs to be removed before the indicator works. -Reset the indicator: Press and hold the reset button for about 8 seconds until all the lights blink, then release. We recommend soaking the filter in cold water for 15 minutes, then running it under cold water for 20 seconds before reinserting it.
