I have used cerave product ranging from serum, to hydrating face wash, to moisturizing cream, etc. I purchased this product because I noticed an acne on my face. Since i started using its, it has left my skin very irritated, like a painful burning sensation. It's so bad that my face can't even tolerate the simple cerave moisturizer. I've been using the CeraVe Acne Foaming Cleanser for a while, and honestly, it's pretty solid. One thing I love about it is that it has benzoyl peroxide, which really helps with breakouts, but it's still gentle on the skin-like, it doesn't make my face feel stripped or overly dry like some acne cleansers do. It lathers up nicely, and I feel like it actually cleans deep without being harsh. Another thing I appreciate is that it has ceramides and niacinamide, so while it fights acne, it also helps maintain the skin barrier and keeps redness in check. It's definitely more of a slow and steady kind of product-it won't magically clear your skin overnight, but with consistent use, it really does help keep breakouts under control. Plus, it's fragrance-free, which is great if you have sensitive skin. DISAPPOINTED WITH THE NEW FORMULA!
I used to love this face wash. I even stock up on it cuz it was the only wash that works for my acne & non drying. I tried the new look cuz i ran out of the original one & it felt like a different formula. I started to break out, felt thick & drying!!! I am so bummed because it was the only wash that works. Please bring back the original formula. Or if u have something similar. U dont like harsh ingredients & the hylauronic really helps my skin. I hope to get a response from cerave & that you can bring back the original one, no need to change it. Amazing Cleanser
I was breaking out super badly for a while and was having a lot of issues with my skin so I decided to try this and it was a miracle worker! Leaves skin super soft and clean without over drying and I saw my skin start to clear up in about a week.
