Good product with good results.
I I usually use Clinique Cleansing Balm but didm't have time to buy some before a vacation. I purchased the Cerave at CVS at the last minute as I trust the brand. It did not disappoint. I bought CeraVe makeup removing cleanser balm mainly to remove mascara. I do like the nice, creamy feel of the balm and it does melt away mascara. However, I was surprised that the directions say to rinse with water and pat dry! Rinsing with water tends to get the balm into my eyes and it says avoid contact with eyes. Irritates eyes
Not really sure why a makeup removing product has to be avoided around eyes. But I have had nonstop eye irritation from this product.Reply from CeraVeHace 2 añosHi there. Love most cerave items but NOT this.
My skin felt both greasy not clean and dry at the same time after use….I inadvertently got some on my lower eyelid 0 I think…..and wound up twice with an eye infection.Reply from cerave.comHace 2 añosHi There. Very happy with the CeraVe makeup remover
I bought this product to take off my makeup and that's exactly what it does in a gentle way. I've previously used makeup removing wipes which irritated my skin, and other removers were okay but nothing like this.
