The CVS 12 Hour Mucus DM Extended Release Tablets is a value sized package containing 100 tablets. For ages 12 and up, recommended directions are to take 1 to 2 tablets every 12 hours, not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours, with a full glass of water. The active ingredients act as an expectorant to thin mucus and as a cough suppressant. I received this product as part of an incentivized campaign. I can not tell you how grateful I was to receive them at the time I did! It was a total coincidence that the box arrived when I was feeling under the weather. I usually use another brand but these worked just fine! The box shows that each container contains 100 tabs with 30mg of cough suppressant and 600 mg of expectorant per extended release tablet. Each tablet claims to be an extended 12 hour release to help control cough, thin, and loosen mucus. For me personally, these did bring relief. After trying them, I would also be more likely to buy them if needed in the future. Although I hope I don't need to.. lol They also have a great expiration date on them of over a year. So you will definitely get your moneys worth for a container of it size. This is also a benefit because it makes you less likely to run out when you need them the most. Helping me enjoy the changing seasons more.
As soon as the weather changes, I know cold season is around the corner. This CVS Mucus Relief DM is a total lifesaver for me. It clears up my chest, makes it easier to breathe, and it actually works pretty fast. The best part is it lasts a long time so I'm not constantly reaching for more. Great for long acting!
What a perfect product for flu season! I lived on these when I had pneumonia. It is the best for long acting and also fast acting. I could actually breathe and last longer than 5 minutes without coughing!! Effective, long-lasting relief from cough and cong
I recently tried CVS Mucus Relief DM 12 Hour and it honestly worked really well for me. I was dealing with a lot of chest congestion and that heavy, stuck feeling in my chest, and this medicine really helped loosen things up and made it easier to breathe. I like that it's extended release, so I only needed to take it twice a day instead of constantly reaching for more pills. Cough med for nights
